My client is looking for a hands-on Data Architect to lead the technical delivery of a Databricks customer data platform. You'll be the main technical contact with the client and lead the data engineering team.

My client is looking for a hands-on Data Architect to lead the technical delivery of a Databricks customer data platform. You'll be the main technical contact with the client and lead the data engineering team.
The role
- Own delivery and lead from the front with the client as the main technical contact
- Lead and manage a data engineering team, delivering through Scrum and scaled Agile
- Guide the programme through discovery, design and implementation
- Hands-on and architecture experience with Databricks (essential), including job clusters, SQL warehouses, AI/BI Dashboards, and data integration with enriched and curated schemas
- PySpark and Python pipelines in Databricks
- Canonical data modelling and SCD experience
- Experience leading data engineering teams
- Consulting experience (clear communication with both senior leaders and technical teams)
- MDM platform experience is a strong advantage
- SAP knowledge
- Legacy data migration
- Data platform workflow, automation and AI
