Embedded Software Engineer - Contract

Location: Aberdeen (on site)

Rate: £60-£65 per hour, outside IR35

Contract: 6 months

The role

Our client is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the team on a 6-month contract. You'll take ownership of embedded systems from start to finish, working across the full development cycle on autonomous systems deployed in demanding real-world environments.

Essential experience

• 
  
• Developing a system from start to finish, through the full development cycle
• Working with STM32 microcontrollers and HAL
• Autonomous embedded systems
• Software testing, including unit and regression testing
• Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing

Nice to have

• Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• C# GUI development

Working arrangement

This role is based in the Aberdeen office, ideally 5 days a week. For the right candidate, up to 1 day a week working from home may be considered.
