Contract Technical Business Analyst at WRK DIGITAL LTD, York, £Contract Rate

£450 per day Outside IR35 3-month contract Hybrid York - 2 days a week

WRK digital is recruiting for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a small development team working on an important programme of technology and systems improvement.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding how a business and its systems actually operate, and turning that knowledge into clear, structured requirements and technical documentation that developers can work from.

There is an existing technology landscape that needs to be better understood and documented, alongside development work that needs greater structure and clarity.

• Gathering, challenging and documenting detailed business requirements
• Translating business needs into clear technical and functional specifications
• Producing high-level and low-level designs
• Documenting existing systems, processes, integrations and dependencies
• Mapping current and future-state processes
• Working closely with business stakeholders and the development team
• Breaking down ambiguity and ensuring developers have clear requirements to work from
• Helping create a better-documented technology environment for future development

You'll be an experienced, technically minded BA who is comfortable operating between business stakeholders and software development teams.

You'll be someone who can walk into an environment, quickly understand what's happening, ask the right questions and turn what you find into structured, usable documentation.

Experience around systems integration, APIs, data flows, legacy systems or software development environments would be particularly useful.
