Digital Engineering Business Analyst- SC Clearance

Location: Reading - Hybrid working
Rate: £500 per day outside ir35
Clearance: SC Clearance required

We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Business Analyst to bridge the gap between engineering stakeholders and digital delivery teams, translating complex engineering requirements into clear, traceable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and prioritise engineering requirements and digital improvement opportunities.

• Translate stakeholder needs into digital capabilities, use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional engineering and digital teams.

• Maintain requirements traceability, documentation and governance throughout delivery.

• Identify risks, dependencies, gaps and opportunities for process improvement.

• Support digital engineering roadmaps, solution evaluations, process modelling and systems integration.

• Ensure solutions align with relevant technical, safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience in business analysis, software, systems or digital engineering projects.

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.

• Experience analysing requirements, engineering processes, data flows and digital solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.

• Ability to translate business and engineering needs into clear technical requirements.

• Experience working with digital engineering, workflow, collaboration or process-modelling tools.

• Valid SC Security Clearance is mandatory. You must hold sole British nationality, not dual nationality. This is due to the secure nature of the requirement.

Experience in aerospace, defence or other regulated engineering environments is highly desirable, alongside knowledge of systems integration, data architecture and digital engineering governance.
