Senior Technical Business Analyst - Systems & Technology Mapping

Rate: £500 - £575 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: London (2-3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 8-10 weeks

Leading Hospitality Client now requires a Senior Technical Business Analyst on a short-term contract, to support the mapping and documentation of its existing technology landscape.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to document existing systems, applications, integrations and dependencies across multiple business functions.

This is a hands-on systems mapping and documentation role, rather than a strategy or solution architecture position.

Key Responsibilities

• Map and document the existing (as-is) technology and application landscape.
• Identify system integrations, data flows, dependencies and system ownership.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather information and understand existing processes.
• Review existing documentation, identify gaps and produce clear systems diagrams.
• Assess and recommend suitable tools for maintaining technology landscape documentation.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst, Business Architect or Senior Systems Analyst.
• Previous hospitality or retail experience
• Proven experience in as-is systems mapping, application landscape documentation and technology discovery.
• Experience documenting system integrations, data flows and technical dependencies.
• Familiarity with mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, LeanIX or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
• Experience working across complex, multi-function organisations.
