Key relationships: Workstream Test Leads, supplier test managers, environment and release teams, defect management, data teams, business analysts, architects, and the Performance, OAT, and UAT Test Managers.
Key accountabilities

- Coordinate integrated test coverage across Core DRS, SAP ERP, SAC, Logistics, Data Platform/Power BI, and shared services.
- Make sure requirements, process flows, interfaces, contracts, data mappings, and non-functional dependencies can be traced to SIT scenarios.
- Direct test preparation, execution, evidence capture, daily reporting, and defect triage across programme and supplier teams.
- Confirm that environments, test data, access, stubs, interfaces, and deployment baselines are ready and under control.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and escalate any threats to milestones or quality along with clear recovery actions.
- Apply defect severity, priority, lifecycle, and retest standards consistently, including ownership across workstreams.
- Give evidence-based recommendations on whether SIT is ready to progress into E2E, performance, OAT, or UAT.
Essential experience
- Substantial experience managing SIT on complex enterprise transformation programmes.
- A proven record of delivery across multiple suppliers, integrated platforms, APIs, batch processes, data migration, and reporting solutions.
- Experience with risk-based testing, requirements traceability, defect governance, and formal entry and exit controls.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and/or Azure DevOps, test management tools, dashboards, and management reporting.
Technical and behavioural skills
- Strong capability in integration testing, test design, data validation, and defect analysis.
- Structured approach to planning and dependency management, with sound analytical decision-making.
- Clear leadership, facilitation, and communication across technical, supplier, and business stakeholders.
- Calm, pragmatic, and outcome-focused, even under delivery pressure.
Qualifications
- Essential: ISTQB Foundation or equivalent.
- Desirable: ISTQB Test Manager, Agile, programme delivery, or relevant technical certifications.
What success looks like
- Critical integration paths are covered, traceable, and executed to plan.
- SIT entry and exit decisions are backed by accurate evidence and transparent residual risk.
- Defects are found early, quickly assigned an owner, and resolved within agreed service levels.
- Downstream phases receive stable builds, reliable data, and as few avoidable defects as possible.
