IAM Consultant/Identity Architect/Senior IAM Engineer at WA Consultants, London, 12 Months, £70-£75 per hour

Required for a fully remote, outside IR35, one-year contract for an experienced OpenText consultant (Architect or Engineer) to lead an initial 6-8-week assessment and then take responsibility for the subsequent implementation project, which is expected to run for approximately one year.

Do you have deep expertise in OpenText NetIQ IDM/IG and want to transform on-premises environments into CIF (SaaS)? If so, this is the right challenge for you. The assignment is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with the option to work remotely.

Role:

• Conduct a comprehensive 6-8-week assessment of the client's current IAM solution and infrastructure.
• Analyse existing OpenText NetIQ IDM/IG (on-premises) processes to identify requirements and opportunities for a SaaS transformation.
• Design the target state and guide the architecture for the transition to CIF (Cloud Identity Framework/SaaS).
• Develop a strategic roadmap and technical recommendations for the subsequent implementation phase.
• Collaborate closely with our technical stakeholders and project owners, as well as the end client's IT and security teams.
• Ensure high standards of technical quality and security throughout the assessment and project phases.
• Lead the subsequent large-scale transformation project (approximately one year), from technical planning through implementation.

Skills:

• Several years of experience as an IAM Consultant, Identity Architect, or Senior IAM Engineer.
• Deep technical expertise in OpenText NetIQ Identity Manager (IDM) and Identity Governance (IG) in on-premises environments.
• Experience in cloud transformations and architectural work involving CIF (SaaS/Cloud Identity Framework).
• The ability to lead assessments, perform gap analyses, and prepare structured documentation to support decision-making.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Not Mandatory, but nice if you also have:

• Previous experience in large-scale IT and IAM projects within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Certifications in OpenText IAM, cloud architecture, or information security (eg, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in international consulting engagements.
