Senior Developer - Front Office RAD/Trader Tools

£700 p/day | Outside IR35 | Largely remote | 12-month contract

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Developer for a prestigious investment banking client, delivering tactical fixes and enhancements directly for Front Office traders.

This role suits someone who thrives in a RAD/tactival environment: quick to understand a problem, comfortable with changing priorities and able to deliver practical, reliable solutions at pace.

The focus is on short development cycles, immediate business needs and improving existing trading tools, rather than a long-term strategic programme. Initial work will support Securities Lending, with opportunities to work across other trading desks.

What we're looking for:

• Strong development experience in C#, Python and Excel
• Proven experience in Front Office RAD or tactical development
• A quick-thinking, pragmatic problem solver who can work independently
• Confidence working directly with traders to understand issues and deliver solutions
• Experience troubleshooting, supporting and enhancing existing applications
• Ability to balance speed of delivery with testing and maintainable code

Useful additional experience: Bloomberg API/BPIPE, C# WPF, SQL Server and Excel-based trading or risk tools.
