The Infrastructure Solution Architect - Networking - "As Is" Estate Review - Contract will be working for a leading global defence, security and aerospace business, leading a detailed "As Is" review of its infrastructure estate, with a strong focus on networking, to support the move to a single, centralised IT function.

Infrastructure Solution Architect - Networking - "As Is" Estate Review Contract Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Solution or Technical Architect with an infrastructure focus. This is a practical, hands-on role, not an enterprise architecture or modelling role
• Strong, hands-on networking knowledge, alongside a broad understanding of infrastructure estates including compute, storage and hosting
• Experience leading "As Is"/current-state assessments or estate discovery exercises, from cataloguing the estate through to validating findings and presenting recommendations
• The ability to make sense of incomplete, inconsistent data spread across multiple repositories and turn it into a clear, consolidated view
• A confident communicator operating at SFIA Level 5, able to validate findings with SMEs and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Track record in large, complex organisations. Active SC clearance highly desirable
