Senior ServiceNow Developer at Simplex Services, London, £400-£450 per day

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITSM implementation and ServiceNow platform development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Role Details:

• Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer / Consultant
• Client Domain: Financial Services / Investment Management
• Contract Duration: 6 months (high possibility of extension)
• Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the London office)
• Location: London, UK (Outside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement and support ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalogue, and SLA Management.
• Develop solutions using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
• Build integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalogue, and Service Portal.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, deployments, and platform enhancements.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and provide technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–12+ years of total IT experience.
• 5–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• 3+ years of ITSM implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and Integration Hub.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and SLA Management.
• Hands-on experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalogue, and Service Portal.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM)

Pay: £400.00-£450.00 per day
