Job Title: Exit Project Manager (Active SC Clearance Required)

Location: Hybrid in either London or Reading

Day Rate: £250/day (OUTSIDE IR35)

Contract Length: 3-4 months (extendable)

Exit Project Manager (Active SC Clearance Required) - Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end exit programme, establishing governance, integrated plans, reporting structures, escalation routes and programme controls.
• Develop and manage the transition strategy, coordinating service transfer plans, readiness assessments, dependencies, milestones and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer, shadowing/reverse-shadowing, service transfer waves and operational handover between incumbent and incoming teams.
• Manage stakeholder and supplier relationships, presenting progress, risks, issues and decisions to senior governance and steering groups.
• Oversee service acceptance, Early Life Support, operational handover and contractual closure, ensuring all exit deliverables and obligations are completed.

Exit Project Manager (Active SC Clearance Required) - Required Experience

• Proven experience as an Exit Manager, Transition Manager, Programme Manager or Project Manager within a large-scale managed services or outsourcing environment.
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex service exits and transitions, ideally involving contracts valued at £10m+.
• Strong experience in programme governance, integrated planning, RAID management, risk/dependency management and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders across complex transition programmes.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with experience managing contractual obligations, service acceptance and exit documentation; SC clearance required.
