Senior Platform Engineer – AWS

£350–£400 per day | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a major UK organisation on a long-term contract, working across a large-scale, high-traffic AWS environment.

The focus will be on modernising a complex legacy AWS estate - understanding existing infrastructure, retiring what’s no longer required, migrating resources into Terraform and improving security across the platform.

You’ll be working hands-on across:

• AWS – EKS, Lambda, RDS/Postgres, CloudFront, IAM & VPC
• Terraform – including migrating existing CloudFormation/manual infrastructure
• Kubernetes & Docker
• CircleCI & GitHub
• Linux + Python/Bash scripting
• Infrastructure security, monitoring & observability
• Agentic AI infrastructure on AWS, including Bedrock/AgentCore

We’re looking for someone with 8+ years in Platform, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering, deep AWS experience and a strong background working with complex production environments.

Experience within high-traffic media, publishing or consumer platforms would be a bonus.

Contract: 8 months

Rate: £350–£400 per day

IR35: Outside IR35

Location: Fully Remote
