GenAI/LLM Engineer at TechShack, United Kingdom, £450-£550 per day

GenAI/LLM Engineer - 2 month contract - Fully Remote - £450-£550 per day - Outside IR35

GenAI/LLM Engineer to support the delivery of a production-grade Generative AI solution within a regulated financial services environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on LLM pipelines, RAG, document processing and agentic AI, using AWS technologies including Amazon Bedrock and OpenSearch.
Candidates must have experience taking GenAI solutions beyond proof-of-concept and into real production environments.

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-on experience delivering production GenAI/LLM solutions, rather than purely prototypes or POCs.
• RAG architecture for complex, document-heavy applications.
• Amazon Bedrock or significant equivalent managed LLM platform experience.
• Amazon OpenSearch, including vector search, k-NN and hybrid retrieval.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar frameworks.
• Document processing technologies such as Amazon Textract, PyPDF or Unstructured.io.
• Designing multi-agent or tool-use architectures.
• GenAI evaluation, hallucination detection, validation and confidence-scoring techniques.
• Experience delivering technology within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Understanding of PII, sensitive data handling, audit trails and information security requirements.
