AWS DevOps Engineer at Haystack, London, £Contract Rate

We are partnering with a leading government programme to recruit experienced cloud engineering professionals. This organisation plays a critical role in supporting public sector services, driving large-scale digital transformation, and delivering secure cloud environments.

The Role

• Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Build, optimise, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Automate operational and deployment processes using Python and Bash scripting.
• Maintain security, compliance, and governance standards across cloud environments.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Terraform.
• Commercial experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Proficiency in GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Linux administration, Bash scripting, and Python automation skills.
• Solid understanding of IAM and cloud security principles.
