Senior Data Engineer – FinTech | Contract

I’m working with a growing FinTech business that is investing heavily into its Data platform as part of a wider transformation programme.

They’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the team and help design, build and modernise scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

The role:

• Build and optimise scalable data pipelines
• Work across a modern cloud-based Data platform
• Support a wider Data transformation programme
• Improve data quality, reliability and performance
• Work closely with Data, Engineering and Product teams

Key experience:

• Strong Python & SQL
• Databricks and/or Snowflake
• Spark
• dbt
• AWS, Azure or GCP
• Modern data architecture & pipelines
• Experience within FinTech, Banking, Payments or Financial Services beneficial

Contract: 6 months initially

Location: London / Hybrid

IR35: Outside IR35

Rate: £600–£700 per day
