£690 per day | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote | Contract

We 're looking for an experienced Prompt Engineer to support a major AI-enabled transformation programme.

Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you 'll be responsible for translating requirements into high-quality prompts, instructions and AI workflows, ensuring AI outputs are accurate, consistent and aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Translate business processes into effective prompts, instructions and AI workflows.
• Design, optimise and refine prompts to improve output quality and consistency.
• Test and evaluate AI responses, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Apply best practice around LLM behaviour, guardrails and hallucination management.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout delivery.

Required Experience:

• Strong experience with Claude and Claude Code .
• Proven background in prompt engineering, prompt design and optimisation .
• Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into effective AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLM behaviour, guardrails and output quality management.
• Experience testing and refining prompts to improve accuracy and reliability.
