PKI & Digital Identity Security Engineer at Barclay Simpson, London Area, £500-£550 per day

We re looking for a hands-on engineer with strong enterprise PKI and certificate management experience to support critical digital identity services in a regulated organisation.

The immediate priority is to operate and improve the PKI service: managing certificate discovery and life cycle processes, resolving issues, automating renewals where possible, and supporting applications as they are onboarded. The wider team also runs Delinea PAM and Saviynt IGA, with identity services across Entra and AWS.

What we're looking for

• Practical experience implementing and supporting enterprise PKI and certificate life cycle services, ideally AppViewX or a comparable platform.
• A sound understanding of certificate authorities, issuance, renewal, revocation, keys and secure integrations.
• Experience troubleshooting live services and managing incidents, changes, patching and releases.
• Broader identity security experience, ideally involving PAM, IGA, Entra or AWS.
• The ability to work directly with application owners and engineers to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
