Data Consultant - London - £450 p/d (Outside IR35) - 6-month contract

We are working with a well-known professional services organisation seeking an experienced Data Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise-grade data products.

The role sits at the intersection of business, data architecture and engineering, with a focus on translating complex business requirements into clearly defined, high-quality and reusable data assets. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, engineers and governance teams to ensure data products meet business needs and are delivered to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently, facilitating discussions, challenging requirements where needed and helping to drive delivery through UAT, validation and production release.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years' experience across data platforms, data products or analytics solutions
• Strong experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage and semantic data modelling
• Proven experience defining KPIs, metrics, facts and dimensions
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance and controls
• Strong SQL and/or advanced Excel skills
• Good understanding of OLAP, OLTP and relational data structures
• Experience working in Agile/iterative delivery environments
• Confident engaging with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting data product releases, UAT and validation
• Experience working with Jira/User Stories and structured data requirements
• API-backed data products, Lakehouse architecture or data governance experience desirable

Location: London, hybrid

Day Rate: £450 p/d (Outside IR35)

Duration: Initial 6-month contract
