Role Overview

An experienced Business Analyst is required for an initial 6-month engagement, supporting a leading UK distribution business with requirements gathering for a new system implementation. You'll run a series of remote workshops between November and February, working closely with business stakeholders and SMEs to capture, document and validate clear, well-structured business requirements. No technical or systems background is required - the focus is entirely on high-quality requirements gathering and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate remote workshops with business stakeholders and SMEs between November and February.
• Elicit, document, analyse and validate business requirements.
• Write clear, well-structured user cases.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive requirements catalogue.
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the engagement.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder analysis and requirements documentation.

Key Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong requirements documentation skills, including writing clear user cases and requirements catalogues.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder interview skills.
• No IFS, SQL or other technical/systems background required.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential for this role.
• Strong documentation and report-writing capability.
