About the client

Our client is a security engineering specialist that delivers security systems design on data centre projects.

The role

We're looking for an experienced Security Systems Design Engineer for a 2-month contract. You'll design CCTV, intrusion detection (IDS) and access control (ACS) systems in Revit and take them through final-stage design, ready for construction drawings to be issued. You'll work directly with clients and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Produce technical designs for CCTV, IDS and ACS, creating your own drawings in Revit
• Develop designs through final stage, before construction drawings are issued
• Work directly with clients, including taking briefs and presenting designs
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to keep the design consistent
• Make sure designs meet client requirements and technical standards

Essential

• A background in security systems design covering CCTV, IDS and ACS
• Strong Revit skills, with the ability to produce your own design drawings
• Experience in technical design work
• Confidence working directly with clients

Desirable

• Experience on data centre projects
• A consultancy background

Equipment

• IT hardware is supplied, so you won't need your own Revit licence.

Pay: £350.00-£380.00 per day
