Bench IT urgently require an experienced Cyber Assurance Lead to join a large organisation starting ASAP. This role is planned until March 2028 initially and will be working in a hybrid model 2-3 days per week onsite which is mandatory.

The Cyber Assurance Lead to take responsibility and lead the organisation's security assurance approach it maintains with its third-party suppliers, with a strong emphasis on applied controls within the supply chain. You will be a key member of the Risk & Governance Team, that will ensure the organisation's supply chain consistently demonstrate adherence to the agreed security expectations and can demonstrate a mature culture when managing and addressing cyber security controls and procedures.

The role will lead risk assessments, due diligence reviews, contract controls and ongoing oversight and monitoring. Working closely, procurement, legal, cyber security and operational leadership teams, the organisation's supply chain will be guided and validated to support and adopt secure behaviours, maintaining good security governance and align those efforts in support of the organisation's own security position.

To excel within the role, you will bring with you, skills and experience that includes:

• Experience working within a similar Cyber assurance role, at a Leadership level
• Solid experience working with third-party suppliers to validate and align the organisations security ethos
• Demonstrable experience in risk assessments, due diligence reviews and supplier controls and both the operational and contractual level
• Sound understanding of NIS CAR frameworks and assessment criteria
