Bench IT urgently require an experienced Risk and Governance Lead to join a large organisation starting ASAP. This role is planned until March 2028 initially and will be working in a hybrid model 2-3 days per week onsite which is mandatory.

The successful Risk & Governance Lead to take ownership of cyber security R & G framework. The predominant focus of the role is one of cyber resilience, ensuring the organisation is effectively positioned to address any cyber security issues that arise.

Joining an established Risk and Governance team, you will lead in identifying, assessing and managing the risks, ensuring that your advice, guidance and guardianship of cyber risk remains in full alignment with the organisation's regulatory compliance obligations and its operational appetite for risk.

Working closely with operational and senior leadership teams, together with the dedicated Cyber Security functions, you will lead the organisation embedding robust Risk & Governance processes and control. You will secure and strengthen accountability that leads to risk-based decision-making supports and strengthens the organisation's security protections.

• ISO27001 Lead experience - Essential
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
