IT Project Manager at Synapri, London, £Contract Rate

Synapri are looking to speak with IT Project Managers to support one of their key customers which are working on a major digital transformation initiative, modernising their core customer-facing platforms and introducing more flexible subscription and eCommerce capabilities .

Working across Business, IT and external partners, you’ll coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and keep delivery moving to achieve high-quality outcomes within agreed scope, timelines and governance.

Start: ASAP

Location: Central London

Duration: End of year initially

Rate: Outside IR35

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring objectives, milestones, budgets and quality standards are achieved.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, IT and external partners.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear progress and delivery updates.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Support effective decision-making and maintain momentum through iterative delivery.
• Apply appropriate Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and ways of working.

Ideal skills

• You’ll have proven experience in project or delivery management, ideally within a digital, technology or product environment, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives successfully.

• Strong experience of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
• eCommerce, publishing or subscription solutions.
• Experience delivering system integrations and SaaS solutions within a wider enterprise environment.
• Excellent communication, organisation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to risk and issue management.
• A collaborative, adaptable and results-focused mindset.

Desirable experience

• Azure DevOps, MS Project or similar delivery tools.
• Enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce or MuleSoft.
• Kanban or other visual flow delivery models.
• Complex programmes involving multiple squad-based teams.
• Project management or Agile qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum Master.
