Rate: Up to £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 12 months +
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid – Manchester or London
On-site: 1 day every 2 weeks at your local hub

We’re partnering with a leading digital consultancy to scale a high-profile delivery team supporting a major Central Government department.

We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Data Analyst to build and refine data products and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insight and support strategic decision-making.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build, develop and refine Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work with complex datasets to identify trends and generate meaningful insights.
• Develop effective data models and visualisations within Power BI.
• Use SQL to query, manipulate and extract data.
• Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams and in line with GDS standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
• What we’re looking for
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling and visualisation.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working within UK Central Government / public sector environments – essential.
• Experience working to GDS standards and within Agile delivery teams.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to non-technical audiences.

Central Government experience is essential for this position.
