Senior data engineer at Digital Camel Ltd, Multiple Locations, £Contract Rate

Outside IR35 6-month initial contract Midlands/North Hybrid

We’re working with a fast-growing data & analytics consultancy looking for experienced Databricks Engineers to support a number of client projects.

This is a hands-on contract for someone who knows Databricks inside out and is comfortable delivering scalable data platforms and pipelines within complex client environments.

• Strong commercial experience with Azure Databricks
• Excellent Python, PySpark and SQL skills
• Experience building and optimising production-grade data pipelines
• Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms
• Experience with CI/CD and engineering best practices
• Comfortable working within client-facing environments
• Able to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery

Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake and wider Azure data tooling would be beneficial.

• Outside IR35
• 6-month initial contract
• Strong potential for ongoing extensions
• Approximately 1 day per week onsite across the Midlands/North
• Day rate negotiable depending on experience
• UK-based contractors
