Overview

Korn Ferry is supporting the investments arm of a major insurance provider on a significant finance and investment management transformation programme involving the implementation and integration of Aladdin and Clearwater.

We are seeking an experienced Target Operating Model/Investment Management Transformation Consultant to help define and embed the future-state operating model around these platforms.

The consultant will work across business and technology stakeholders to translate technology and process changes into practical processes, roles, responsibilities, governance and ways of working.

The ideal candidate combines strong TOM/operating model experience with substantial investment management experience and hands-on exposure to investment technology implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and embed the future-state operating model for investment-related finance and investment management processes.

• Design and document current and future-state processes, working with business and technology stakeholders.

• Translate technology changes into practical processes, roles, responsibilities and ways of working.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive agreement on future-state processes and operating model requirements.

• Define ownership, hand-offs, governance and support responsibilities across business and technology teams.

• Identify gaps between the current and future operating models and help resolve operational design issues and dependencies.

• Support the operating model around Aladdin, Clearwater and associated investment technology.

• Maintain process, operating model and governance documentation.

• Work closely with programme leadership and business/technology workstreams through implementation, transition and BAU embedding.

Essential Experience

• Significant experience delivering Target Operating Model/operating model transformation programmes.

• Strong investment management/asset management industry experience.

• Proven experience designing future-state processes and operating models.

• Experience working on investment management technology implementations.

• Strong understanding of investment operations and the interaction between investment, finance and technology.

• Strong senior stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

• Comfortable working hands-on within complex transformation programmes rather than purely in an advisory capacity.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Aladdin implementations.

• Experience with Clearwater implementations.

• Investment accounting experience.

• Insurance and/or asset management experience.

• Experience within global investment organisations.

• Experience designing operating models around investment accounting/investment operations platforms.

• Experience transitioning new technology, processes and controls into BAU.
