Infrastructure Engineer – Six-Month Contract

Location: Prescot, near Liverpool

Working arrangement: Hybrid working – three days per week in the office

Contract Length: Initial six-month contract

IR35 Status: OUTSIDE IR35.

Day Rate: £450-500 per day

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a long-established, global organisation on an initial six-month contract.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving general infrastructure support alongside a range of technical projects and migration work.

Key areas of experience:

• Virtualisation: Hyper-V and VMware administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, migrations and project work
• Network infrastructure: Meraki, switching and wireless management, including configuration and infrastructure changes
• Core infrastructure services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and IPAM administration
• Cloud services: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration, configuration, troubleshooting and migrations
• Storage: SAN, NAS and DAS administration, capacity management and maintenance, ideally using Dell EMC and NetApp technologies

Experience with the ManageEngine product suite would be a real advantage.

You’ll need to be comfortable working from the Prescot office three days per week, with the remaining two days worked remotely.
