Endpoint & Migration Engineer

Outside IR35 Contract

We are seeking a hands-on Endpoint & M365 Migration Engineer to support the migration of users and their managed devices into a new standalone Microsoft 365 environment.

The organisation currently operates an Intune-managed endpoint estate, with Apple Business Manager in place and potential JAMF integration under consideration.

The role will focus on endpoint identity, device migration, Intune configuration, application deployment and hands-on cutover support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migration of Windows endpoints into the new tenant.
• Support Microsoft Intune tenant migration and configuration.
• Manage Entra ID Join/device registration and authentication changes.
• Support Windows Autopilot and device provisioning.
• Review and migrate endpoint configuration policies.
• Rebuild/redeploy applications within the new tenant.
• Support Microsoft 365 application deployment.
• Support Apple device management through Apple Business Manager and Intune.
• Assess JAMF requirements and integration where applicable.
• Support migration of the small mobile estate, including iPhones and iPads.
• Develop endpoint migration and remediation procedures.
• Coordinate endpoint migration with the M365 identity and migration workstreams.
• Perform migration testing and user validation.
• Provide hands-on support during the big-bang weekend cutover.
• Provide post-migration hypercare and remediation.

• Endpoint/application deployment.

• PowerShell.
• Microsoft 365 migration.
• Apple Business Manager desirable.
• JAMF experience desirable.
• Experience supporting business separation/M&A/divestiture desirable.
