Certified Palo Alto Engineer - Prisma - Outside of IR35

Job Description

• Deliver proactive and reactive dedicated technical support to top-tier partners and their downstream customers across Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Prisma (Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, Prisma Cloud) solutions
• Offer configuration reviews, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance to partners to help resolve customer issues, including Prisma deployments
• Own support cases from start to finish, making sure issues are logged, tracked, resolved, and followed up on promptly
• Perform fault isolation and root cause analysis on technical issues across Firewall and Prisma environments
• Collect and securely store partner-specific documentation to speed up troubleshooting
• Review technical documentation such as training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, and troubleshooting guides
• Occasional travel to customer sites may be required throughout Europe

Your Experience

• 4+ years working with Palo Alto Networks technology, including Prisma, in a client- or partner-facing technical role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP (required)
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products and technology
• Hands-on experience with Prisma solutions such as Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, or Prisma Cloud
• Strong experience in routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP)
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (RADIUS, TACACS) is a plus
• Proven ability to independently debug large, complex, and unique networks that combine multiple media types and protocols
• BA/BS in computer science or a related field, or equivalent military experience (required)
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and describe their business impact
• Able to give concise situation summaries to executives at the partner, Palo Alto Networks, or customer organization, and confident presenting to senior audiences
