DevOps Engineer at Sanderson Recruitment, Romsey, £Contract Rate

We're supporting a secure, cloud-native programme and are looking to engage an experienced DevOps Engineer on an initial contract running until the end of June.

This role is primarily remote, with an expectation to attend site in Romsey approximately once per month. Candidates must hold active SC or DV clearance.

You will have strong hands-on experience with a modern DevOps toolchain, including:

• AWS

• GitLab CI/CD
• JFrog Artifactory
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Terraform
• ArgoCD
• Python
• Rancher
• Packer
• Grafana
• Prometheus
• OpenTelemetry
• Conventional Commits

Working within a highly technical engineering environment, you'll be responsible for building, automating and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, supporting containerised applications, and driving best practice across platform engineering and DevOps processes.

You'll contribute to:

• Cloud infrastructure deployment and management within AWS
• CI/CD pipeline development and optimisation
• Kubernetes platform administration and automation
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Packer
• GitOps implementation with ArgoCD
• Monitoring, observability and performance optimisation using Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
• Continuous improvement of engineering standards, automation and release processes

• Active SC or DV Clearance
• UK-based
• Able to attend site in Romsey approximately once per month
• Proven experience in complex DevOps and cloud engineering environments
