Automation Tester at Experis IT, Glasgow, 3 Months, £Competitive Rate

We are looking for an Automation Tester to work on behalf of Experis under a Statement of Work (SoW) with our end client. The organisation are looking to establish a sustainable, AI-driven regression testing capability within an ongoing project. The organisation is looking to avoid reliance on heavily coded automation frameworks and create a maintainable approach that enables internal teams to expand and maintain regression test coverage through a "click and record" methodology.

This is a hands-on-role focused role, focused on implementing and embedding a non-coded or low-code automation testing solution that allows users to generate and maintain regression tests through screen recording and automation tools, rather than requiring ongoing script development expertise.

You will be working Outside IR35, and the role will be 3 months with a hard stop.

Responsibilities:

• Establish a sustainable suite of automated, data-driven regression tests
• Implement a "click and record" style automation testing approach
• Evaluate and utilise automation tools capable of supporting AI-driven testing capabilities
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective regression testing scenarios
• Work closely with the Project Stakeholders and suppliers to ensure testing requirements are met.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring and support to internal team members who will own and maintain the regression testing suite long term.
• Adhere to established project governance and testing standards.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with OpenText automation Solutions
• Experience working with Playwright, particularly where AI driven capabilities are being leveraged
• Experience implementing low-code or no-code automation testing approaches
• Background with Healthcare, Medical, Financial Services or similarly regulated environments.
