AI Engineer - Full Stack (Python/React) - Outside IR35 - Hybrid at Tecknuovo Ltd, Reading, £600 per day

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise Data & AI transformation initiative. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building innovative AI-powered solutions, working across the full technology stack (Python/React), and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-enabled applications, helping organisations unlock value from their data and accelerate the adoption of modern AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions.
• Develop full-stack applications using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.
• Build and consume REST APIs, with FastAPI experience highly desirable.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to software design, technical architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Integrate AI capabilities into business applications and workflows.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Support continuous improvement across engineering and delivery practices.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Strong software engineering background with an understanding of software design and architecture principles.
• Proven experience delivering production-ready AI solutions.
• Commercial experience developing full-stack applications using React and Python.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience working with Azure-based solutions and services.
• Understanding of modern AI technologies and implementation patterns.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery.

• Rate: £600 per day

• Onsite Requirement: 2 x per month
