Development Test Engineer - Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Development Test Engineer for an initial 12-month contract to support the planning, execution and reporting of Verification & Validation (V &V) activities within our clients engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan V &V activities.
• Create Test Plans, Test Protocols, Test Cases and Test Methods .
• Support test execution, anomaly management and reporting.
• Create and maintain test documentation and reporting templates.
• Review Test Plans, Test Results and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies.

Skills & Experience

• Good understanding of software behaviour and development .
• Understanding of control/command systems and physical/mechanical processes.
• Knowledge of qualification and statistical methods , including MSA and Six Sigma.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience with tools such as Polarion, Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO) .
• Good reporting skills using Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools .
• Basic understanding of scripting/pseudo-code such as Python, VBA or HTML .
