Data Test Engineer / Data QA / Data Pipeline Testing

SR2 is recruiting for a Data Test Engineer to join a highly technical project focused on testing complex, high-volume data pipelines. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on ETL/ELT and data pipeline testing experience, who is comfortable getting into the data and personally building and executing validation.

Requirements:

• High-volume, production-scale data pipeline testing
• Strong ETL/ELT testing and source-to-target reconciliation
• Kafka and streaming data
• Apache Spark
• SQL and/or Python for data validation
• Building mocks / test doubles for integrations and pipeline testing
• Exposure to Kubernetes / containerised environments
• Strong API testing experience, including hands-on tools such as Postman to validate APIs, integrations, requests/responses and data flows
• Strong test documentation and evidence

We're looking for a genuinely hands-on tester who can demonstrate what they've personally built, tested and validated within complex data environments.
