Data Lead - Workday at Morson Edge, Multiple Locations, £Contract Rate

ERP Data Lead - Workday - Central Government - London/Hybrid - £500-£600 a day - Outside IR35.

We are looking for a Data Lead who has experience migrating to Workday ideally within Central Government.

The role will initially focus on the following areas

Corporate Services Data and Document Analysis Heatmap, summarising and highlighting areas of strong compliance, areas requiring improvements and areas of concern.

Corporate Services Data and Document Analysis Report, detailing the findings of the above analysis and findings and including capture of risks covering storage, retention and migration tasks risks.

Data Model & Data & Document Dictionary
• Data Model
o Data and document storage and high-level data flow mapping.

• Data and Document Dictionary
o Inventory of current data and document storage locations and systems.
o Updated information Asset Register.

Document & Data Transition methodology and plan
• Data & Document Transition Methodology
o Documentation of the overall Transition Strategy and Methodology for the ERP (HR and Finance) related Documents & Data transition to Workday
o Capture of Data Design Principles to inform decisions throughout the period of preparation and transition to Workday.
o Definition of the roles of data owners and data stewards for the HR and Finance Document & Data set, and associated governance meetings and processes that will be required for the preparation and transition of Documents and Data to Workday.

• Data & Document Transition Plan
o Prioritised recommendations for remediation of current Document & Data Issues.
o Definition of the key Document & Data transition artefacts required by the programme for the preparation and transition to Workday
o Remediation and transition action plan capturing the key stages, schedule and activities for the preparation and transition to Neo.

Scope of Corporate Services Document and Data Systems and Storage:
• Existing ERP
• New Workday ERP system (target state, configuration assumptions, and data structures where available)
• Shared network drives
• Cloud storage solutions (e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Document and records management system
• Other electronic folders used for business purposes
