ERP Transformation Project Manager – Chorley

What will you be doing?

- Leading the transformation programme to replace the business's core management systems, from current-state assessment and requirements definition through to ERP selection, implementation and adoption

- Acting as client-side lead, managing consultants and vendors throughout

- Overseeing integration of finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets/resource management and reporting into the new system

- Running requirements gathering and vendor selection

- Managing senior stakeholders and leading change across the business as it adopts new ways of working

Where you'll be doing it:

This is a well-established engineering organisation of around 600 people, based in Chorley, currently replacing its core business management systems as part of a wider transformation programme.

What you'll need:

- Proven experience delivering an ERP or business management system transformation end-to-end

- Experience integrating finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets/resource management and reporting

- Strong requirements definition, vendor selection and implementation experience

- Excellent senior stakeholder and change management skills

- Background in engineering, professional services, nuclear or another regulated/project-based environment is strongly preferred

- A genuine business transformation mindset – this is not simply an IT project management role
