Server Engineer (Project based) - Outside IR35 - £300-350 p/day at Keystream Group Limited, Hereford, £Contract Rate

We're looking for a Server Project Engineer to join a major infrastructure upgrade programme, supporting the migration of applications currently hosted on Windows Server 2012 and 2016 to Windows Server 2025.

Contract Details: 

• Rate: £300-£350 per day
• Outside IR35
• Duration: 12 months initial (With potential extensions) 
• Location: Onsite 5 days p/week (Hereford) (Candidates will ideally need to be based locally) 
• Start: ASAP

• Assess application and server readiness for migration.
• Identify and resolve compatibility issues.
• Coordinate application remediation, testing, and migration activities.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, application owners, and third-party suppliers.
• Support migration planning, cutovers, and post-migration validation.

• Proven experience delivering Windows Server upgrade or migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 environments.
• Experience with application migrations, remediation, and testing.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a structured project environment.
