Test Lead - System Integration & UAT

Contract: 6 months
Rate: £575 per day outside IR35
Location: London - hybrid, two days per month onsite
Clearance: Active SC clearance is essential

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to manage System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across a multi-partner environment. You will lead test execution, assure partner deliverables and ensure defects are resolved effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Create SIT and UAT plans, scripts and test data from requirements and technical designs.
• Lead SIT and UAT execution, including go/no-go calls, test meetings and exit reviews.
• Direct a virtual, multi-partner test team and ensure test evidence is captured.
• Manage defects through to resolution and produce test summary reports.
• Review partner testing and provide QA guidance and assurance.

Essential Criteria

• At least five years' QA/testing experience, including Test Lead experience.
• At least three years' experience leading SIT and three years leading UAT.
• Experience leading virtual test teams across multiple delivery partners.
• Strong test planning, Scripting and defect-management experience.
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
