Data Scientist: £350-450 Outside IR35: Hybrid London (2-3x per week): Consumer Business Client

A globally recognised consumer business is bringing in a Data Scientist to help untangle a fragmented data estate and power a fast-moving growth initiative ahead of peak trading season.

You'll be working with genuinely messy, real-world customer data, not a clean warehouse, building models that directly inform retention, segmentation and pricing decisions.

What you'll need:

• Strong hands-on Python and SQL
• Production experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Azure Synapse
• A track record in customer segmentation, churn or predictive modelling
• Comfort working with ambiguity and limited process
• The confidence to shape how things get done, not just follow a playbook

The details:

• £350-450 per day, Outside IR35
• 2-3 days onsite per week (London)
• 6 months initial, genuine scope for extension
