Product Designer (UX/UI) - Retail - B2C - Contract, £450p/d Outside IR35

Global Retail Client now requires a Product Designer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer to gain hands-on experience within an established, high-performing product function, working across both UX and UI on real, shippable work.

The Product Designer will be joining at a genuinely exciting time as the business adapts and localises their already-proven product for a new market. The role holder will ship at pace, and learn from a mature design and product culture.

The Product Designer will be responsible for:

• Adapting, localising and refining existing UK web and app experiences for a new European market
• Owning design tasks end-to-end - from initial concept through to UI execution and handoff
• Collaborating closely with product, engineering and localisation stakeholders
• Applying both UX thinking and high-quality UI craft across web and app touchpoints
• Using AI tools to accelerate design workflows, exploration and iteration

What We're Looking For

• A high-ownership, proactive designer who takes initiative and sees work through
• Strong foundations in both UX and UI design - comfortable across research-informed decisions and polished visual execution
• Confident and fluent using AI tools as part of the design process
• Comfortable working within an established design system and mature product environment
• Available to start promptly and commit to an initial 3-month contract

Rate: £450/day (Outside IR35) Contract length: 3 months initially Location: London/Hybrid (UK) Start date: ASAP
