Office: 1–2 days per week

We are currently recruiting for a Senior C# / Azure Engineer to join an established engineering team of approximately 40 people.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with strong experience building cloud-based, distributed and event-driven systems using C#, Azure and modern integration technologies.

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience
• Apache Kafka / event streaming
• REST APIs and service integration
• Event-driven architecture
• Distributed systems
• Scalable backend services
• Angular / frontend experience is a nice-to-have

The Role

You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team, developing and integrating modern cloud-based services and systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing high-quality software using C#/.NET
• Building and integrating REST APIs and services
• Working with Azure cloud services
• Developing event-driven solutions using Kafka
• Working with distributed systems and scalable architectures
• Integrating multiple systems and services
• Contributing to technical design and architectural decisions
• Working collaboratively with engineers and technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience in C#/.NET and Azure, combined with a solid understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures.

You should be comfortable working with Kafka/event streaming and building robust APIs and integrations.

Angular experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Additional Details

£600/day Outside IR35

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with 1–2 days per week required in the office.

Immediate availability or a very short notice period is strongly preferred.
