We're supporting one of the UK's most respected Azure specialist MSPs as they shape a strategic data platform transformation programme.
They need an experienced Business Analyst who can get up to speed quickly, lead focused discovery sessions and bring structure to a complex environment involving Legacy systems, undocumented processes and significant volumes of data.
You'll bridge the gap between operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams-turning ambiguous requirements into clear process maps, data requirements and actionable recommendations that will directly influence the future platform design.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading discovery workshops with operational, forecasting, product, IT and data stakeholders.
- Capturing current-state processes, systems, workflows and data flows.
- Identifying bottlenecks, manual processes, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Developing future-state processes and operating-model recommendations.
- Gathering and documenting functional, non-functional and business requirements.
- Producing process maps, BPMN diagrams, data-flow diagrams, user stories and requirements backlogs.
- Analysing data ownership, quality, stewardship, lineage, metadata and governance requirements.
- Supporting the creation of data dictionaries, business glossaries, KPI definitions and data-quality rules.
- Working with architects and data engineers to validate requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Facilitating playback sessions and securing stakeholder agreement on key deliverables.
- Supporting UAT, business readiness and solution validation where required.
