Solution Architect at VIQU Ltd, Birmingham, £500-£550 per day

We are looking for Technical Architect to introduce M365 services to a Google Cloud Platform that they use for the clients Back End identity and core environments, so that it can run and be an option alongside their exisiting google tooling rather than replacing it.

You will have practical experience of introducing M365 into a Google-centric environment and understands the identity, authentication, user experience, device management and adoption challenges that come with running both platforms side-by-side. You will have experience of doing this at scale rather than a greenfield site and have the technical depth to understand integration issues.

• You will be the Design Authority through to engineering and implementation teams, translating strategy into secure, scalable and operationally supportable technology solutions.
• Experience of taking engagements from discovery and current-state assessment through target architecture, HLD/LLD, ADRs, transformation roadmaps and governance into technical implementation, migration, security remediation, operational readiness and handover.

• Platform Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP services like IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, BigQuery) and Google Workspace architecture.

• Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong working familiarity with the Legacy source environment (Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID) to successfully map and migrate data structures.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Practical experience with automation and deployment tools such as Terraform.

• Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to brief executive leadership on risk assessment, vendor management, and project milestones.

Duration: 3 months

Day Rate - £500-550 outside of IR35

Location: West Midlands - Hybrid 2/3 days on site
