Senior Project Manager – DevSecOps / Technology Transformation at Develop, Twickenham, £Contract Rate

A major UK public-sector technology programme is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery and scale-up of an enterprise DevSecOps platform.

The role sits at the intersection of technology delivery, DevSecOps, engineering, security and business transformation, making it ideal for a technically credible Project Manager who enjoys working in complex environments.

You will manage delivery across a phased roadmap, coordinating engineering, architecture, security, platform and business stakeholders from initial discovery through to adoption and scale.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead delivery across multiple implementation and adoption phases.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and resources.
• Coordinate technical delivery teams and third-party suppliers.
• Work with engineering, DevSecOps, architecture, security and product stakeholders.
• Run workshops, demonstrations, governance meetings and delivery reviews.
• Track KPIs, adoption metrics and delivery outcomes.
• Manage handover and transition into ongoing platform operations.
• Maintain strong governance while allowing user feedback to shape priorities.

Key experience:

• Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager experience within technology or digital transformation.
• Experience managing technical delivery teams.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps
• Agile, hybrid or phased delivery experience.
• Strong risk, dependency, governance and stakeholder management.
• Experience within government, defence, national security or regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Active SC clearance is essential.
