Data Lead - Data Analytics/Regulatory Data at We Are Orbis Group Ltd, London, 12 Months, £Contract Rate

Location: London/Hybrid - 50% onsite

We are looking for an experienced Data Lead to join a specialist data analytics team delivering a high profile data programme within the financial services and regulatory sector.

You will lead the analytical capability for the programme, helping transform newly collected data into meaningful dashboards, intelligence and actionable insights. The programme is focused on improving supervision and risk identification through better use of data.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Data Analysts in a demanding delivery environment
• Deliver data analysis, dashboard development and analytical reporting
• Identify trends, anomalies, concentrations and emerging risks within complex datasets
• Develop supervisory intelligence and decision support
• Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and gather feedback
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights
• Drive improvements to data quality, validation and enrichment
• Support the iterative development and refinement of dashboards and reporting solutions

Essential Experience

• Strong experience leading data or analytics teams
• Experience delivering against challenging deadlines and changing priorities
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights
• Strong problem solving capability
• Able to work independently and deliver without close supervision
• Comfortable operating within demanding environments

Desirable

• Financial services or regulatory experience
• Knowledge of financial or regulatory data and reporting regimes

The engagement has been determined Outside IR35 and requires BPSS pre engagement checks.
