Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Specialist to support and enhance a large, established SAP landscape operating across multiple European sites.

The role will combine SAP support, incident resolution, functional consulting and project delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, key users, project teams and external SAP partners to maintain existing SAP templates while delivering changes, enhancements and smaller implementation projects.

A major focus of the position will be SAP EDI, alongside broader Supply Chain functionality across SD, MM, LE and WM.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, enhance and deliver SAP EDI requirements across Supply Chain processes.
• Provide functional expertise across: Provide support up to L3 level, investigating and resolving issues escalated by Service Desk and business support teams.
  • SAP SD - Sales, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management and Consignment
  • SAP MM - Purchasing and Inventory Management
  • SAP LE/WM - Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution and Handling Unit Management
• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Produce functional specifications for developments, enhancements and configuration changes.
• Manage SAP change requests and transports through development, testing and deployment.
• Deliver small to medium-sized SAP projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support SAP template maintenance, evolution and rollout activities across multiple countries and sites.
• Work closely with business key users and Process Owners to provide SAP best-practice guidance.
• Ensure solutions remain aligned with global SAP templates and governance standards.
• Coordinate testing activities and support business users through implementation and go-live.
• Maintain documentation, process maps, rollout materials and user guidance.
• Manage incidents and change requests through ServiceNow.
• Work with internal SAP teams, external consultants, SAP partners and third-party suppliers.
• Support standardisation of SAP processes, governance and ways of working across different sites.

Experience Required

• 5+ years' hands-on SAP EDI experience.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, LE and WM.
• Experience supporting SAP Supply Chain environments within large organisations.
• Experience delivering multiple SAP implementations, rollouts or major change projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and industrial business processes.
• Experience working across areas such as manufacturing, make-to-order and make-to-stock.
• Experience gathering requirements and producing functional specifications.
• Strong understanding of SAP testing, change management and deployment processes.
• Experience working within global or multi-country SAP environments.
• Previous involvement in support and incident resolution.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing or delivering SAP projects and changes.
• ServiceNow experience would be advantageous.
• Manufacturing industry experience would be highly beneficial.
