Contract Technical Author - 6 months - Remote- Outside IR35 -Immediate Start

We're looking for an experienced Contract Technical Author to join a growing software team and take ownership of customer-facing product documentation.

You'll be joining at an exciting time, with a major focus on improving, restructuring and creating documentation across a growing portfolio of software products.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning documentation for specific products end-to-end
• Creating clear, user-focused technical and product content
• Reviewing and improving existing documentation
• Turning complex technical information into simple, accessible guidance
• Working closely with Developers, Product Managers, QA, Support and SMEs
• Helping create a reliable single source of truth for end users
• Supporting better customer self-service through high-quality documentation

What we're looking for:

• Technical Author/Technical Writer experience
• Strong experience documenting software applications
• Understanding of the Documentation Development Lifecycle (DDLC)
• Experience with authoring tools such as MadCap Flare
• Able to manage multiple documentation priorities in a fast-paced environment

This is a hands-on, content-focused role offering plenty of ownership and the opportunity to genuinely influence how complex software products are understood by their users.
