Elasticsearch Consultant at Identifi Global Resources Ltd, Birmingham, £Contract Rate

Rather than working in a traditional engineering or operational support role, you’ll be part of an experienced consulting team with exposure to a broad range of customer projects – spanning consulting, architecture, implementation, data onboarding, migration and managed services across the Elastic ecosystem.

You’ll help customers design, implement and optimise Elastic solutions, with a particular focus on the end-to-end onboarding of security and operational data into Elasticsearch. This can include taking unfamiliar raw data sources through discovery, ingestion, transformation and normalisation, all the way through to production deployment and validation.

We’re particularly interested in experience across:

• Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
• Building ingestion pipelines for raw logs, syslog and security data
• Grok, Dissect, JSON/KV parsing, enrichment and transformation
• Mapping and normalising data to Elastic Common Schema (ECS)
• Elastic Agent, Fleet and integrations
• Elasticsearch ingest pipelines, Data Streams, templates, mappings and ILM
• End-to-end data/feed onboarding, testing, troubleshooting and validation
• Elastic Security / SIEM environments
• High-volume ingestion architectures, including Kafka
• Elastic platform migrations, upgrades and optimisation

We have opportunities available for both permanent consultants and Outside IR35 contractors, with predominantly remote working and occasional travel to client sites.
