A leading private equity firm with a significant European investment portfolio. The firm operates across multiple European markets, with technology playing an increasingly important role across its investment and operational activities.

Role

As the DevOps & Cloud Engineer, you will support and evolve the cloud infrastructure underpinning the firm's internal technology platforms and applications.

You'll work across Azure, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, security, and platform reliability, partnering closely with engineering teams across a fast-moving technology environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone comfortable taking ownership, responding quickly to changing priorities, and communicating effectively with both technical teams and senior investment stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and platform reliability.
• Support cloud security, identity, access, and governance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across engineering teams.
• Help establish scalable cloud and DevOps standards.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on Azure experience.
• CI/CD and modern DevOps tooling.
• Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar.
• Cloud networking, identity, security, and access management.
• Monitoring, observability, and incident management.
• Strong stakeholder communication and ability to operate autonomously.
• Desirable: Private equity, financial services, or similarly fast-paced environments.
