Role Overview:

 

We’re seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst with strong Lean and Six Sigma expertise (Black Belt preferred) to support a major transformation programme.

 

You’ll work closely with operational teams to analyse current processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive measurable improvements across the organisation.

 

This role is highly collaborative and hands‑on, requiring you to be on‑site in Leeds four days per week. Please only apply if you are based within commutable distance or willing to travel regularly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead end‑to‑end process analysis across multiple business functions, mapping current workflows and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, streamline processes, and enhance operational performance.
  • Facilitate workshops, root‑cause analysis sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights and validate findings.
  • Develop clear, data‑driven recommendations and business cases for change.
  • Support the design and implementation of new processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational realities.
  • Track and report on improvement outcomes, KPIs, and benefits realisation.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change Management.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

  • Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role within complex organisations.
  • Strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt certification highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering measurable process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable solutions.
  • Skilled in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
